Tam’s Sweets

Not your everyday brittle…. Traditional peanut brittles are hard, and I mean teeth breaking hard. Not so good for grandma. There simply weren’t many alternatives to the classic hard brittle on the market. So we set out to change that.

Our hazelnuts come from farms in Oregon. When possible, our ingredients are sourced locally because supporting local vendors is our ethos.

After many sleepless, sugar-filled nights, we’re proud to bring you our very own handmade, small-batch, soft nut brittle. Crafted with care in Portland, Oregon. Made from scratch with the freshest ingredients, we’ve even gone as far as producing our own nut butter!

Our goal is to flip traditional brittle, and confections for that matter, on its head to create a truly memorable candy experience. Deliciously soft, melts in your mouth and teeth friendly.

I’m a self-taught baker who loves to push creativity to the edge. I love to wow my clients with not only aesthetics but taste as well.

As a contestant on The Food Network’s “The Great Chocolate Showdown”, I was able to hone my skills and open myself up to the world of confections.

My idea for soft brittle came from the realization that peanut brittle doesn’t have to be teeth-breaking hard. I found the alternatives just weren’t available on the market. From there, I experimented with different combinations of ingredients to create something simply unique and decadent. Learn more about how Tam’s Sweets began…

MADE WITH INTEGRITY

Our peanut, cashew and almond flavor soft brittles are plant-based, vegan, gluten free, and handcrafted with our own nut butters using locally sourced ingredients when possible.

MADE WITH PURPOSE

All of our soft brittle is not only gluten free but also plant based. With 35 grams of protein in each bag and not as sweet as other candies, it’s a healthier alternative if you’re looking for a sweet treat.

Each batch of confections is handcrafted with attention and care. Knowing that the love and care I put into my creations will be enjoyed by so many warms my heart.
